J.D. Power has been conducting a customer satisfaction survey in the UK – the J.D. Power 2015 UK Customer Service Index – with Volvo top of the ‘Premium’ brands.
We all know about the J.D. Power Survey which gives car buyers useful feedback from real world owners, and now they’ve done a a customer satisfaction survey in the UK to get more feedback on what owners think of their dealer experience. The inaugural J.D. Power 2015 UK Customer Service Index (CSI) Study has found that amongst the ‘Premium’ brands it’s Volvo that proves to be the most satisfying after analysing results for service quality, service initiation, service advisor, vehicle pick-up and service facility.
Volvo beat one and all in the ‘Premium’ sector scoring 779 (out of a possible 1,000), followed by Land Rover (767) and Audi (762).
It’s a good result for Volvo, but what will probably please them as much as anything is that J.D. Power clearly sees Volvo as a ‘Premium’ brand, something Volvo has worked hard to do in recent years, hoping to change the domination of the German ‘Premium’ brands – BMW, Mercedes and Audi – a quest that has been made easier by the arrival of the very impressive new Volvo XC90.
Away from the ‘Premium’ brands, it’s Honda that takes the top spot, scoring 768, ahead of Suzuki and Toyota (on 759) and Kia and Skoda (on 758).
