Peugeot 208 XS ‘Special Edition’ (pictured) gets more personalisation options
The Peugeot 208 XS Special Edition launches in the UK – just 2,000 on offer – with additional personalisation options and costing from £13,495.
It’s more than four years since the Peugeot 208 arrived, and Peugeot has managed to deliver a few ‘Special Edition’ 208s since then, the latest of which is this, the Peugeot 208 XS.Peugeot are calling the 208 XS a ‘limited-run special edition’ and are limiting sales to just 2,000 units, but if the titivations suit then – as with most special editions – you get more for your money than speccing up a ‘regular’ model.
Available only with Peugeot’s 1.2 litre Pure Tech 82bhp petrol engine – in either three or five door – the 208 XS is based on the 208 Active but with the addition of 16″ alloys, front fogs, a white paint job and additional personalisation options.
Despite a standard white paint job, you can also have your 208 XS in Nera Black metallic, Ice Silver Virtual Blue and Orange Power, with the white, black and silver XS getting the Lime Yellow exterior pack and the Blue and Orange the Menthol White exterior pack.
Peugeot say the colour options have been chosen to compliment the personalisation option of the 208 XS, which include 16″ Technical Grey Titane alloys, Equaliser grille with gloss black surround, gloss black door mirrors and the highlights from the Exterior Pack depending on body colour choice.
The 208 XS also comes with 7″ multifunction touchscreen, DAB, Bluetooth, USB and Air Con.
The Peugeot 208 XS special edition is now on sale at Peugeot’s UK dealers.
