The Range Rover Sport Electric goes on sale in the UK with the same EV powertrain as the Range Rover Electric. Costs from £110k.
Now, we get a second Range Rover EV with the arrival of the Range Rover Sport Electric, pretty much the full-fat RR under the skin, with exactly the same powertrain, but costing about £40k less, with prices from £110k. Although that’s a starting price that’s £10k more than its nearest rival – the Porsche Cayenne S Electric.
Just like the RR EV, the Sport EV gets 542bhp and 627lb/ft of torque from its dual motors, good for 0-62mph in 4.3 seconds and comparable to the V8 RRS, which are powered by a 118.5kWh battery promising range of around 375 miles, with 800V electric charging up to 350kW is possible.
That big battery also lowers the centre of gravity and delivers the stiffest body structure in the RRS range which, together with adaptive suspension, RWS and active roll control, promises to be the most dynamic Sport offering.

On sale now, the Range Rover Sport Electric costs from £109,810 for the Dynamic SE, £122,780 for the Autobiography and £126,290 for the First Edition.
