The new Nissan Micra – revealed in Paris and aiming to tackle the new Fiesta – goes on sale in the UK priced from £11,995 for the Micra Visia.
The new 2017 Nissan Micra was revealed at the Paris Motor Show in September, and it looks like Nissan has made the Micra a properly competitive car once again as it goes on sale in the UK from £11,995.That £11,995 will buy you an entry-level Micra Visia 1.0 litre with 73bhp, although you will also have the option of a 0.9 litre three-cylinder petrol and 1.5 litre diesel.
Trim levels for the new Micra will be Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta and Tekna, with mid-level Acenta trim likely to be the big seller in the guise of the IG-T 90 Acenta at £14,995, pitching it right at the new Ford Fiesta Titanium.
It seems you won’t actually be able to order the entry-level Micra with its 1.0 litre petrol engine until later in 2017, but you will be able to order any of the trim levels with the three-cylinder and diesel options, all the way up to the £17,295 Micra Tekna.
Nissan are having two bites of the cherry on the new Micra pricing, delivering the bare bones today and the rest when orders actually open later this month, but we do know there are plenty of ‘big car’ options.
They include stuff like keyless, heated seats and Bose, a wide choice of paint jobs, personalisation packs, leather and alloys.
