Hyundai Kona SUV’s highlights on video
The new Hyundai Kona Compact SUV is highlighted on video, with the Kona’s ‘Big Car’ technology demonstrated on this video from Hyundai.
It’s just a week since the new Hyundai Kona was revealed, and it does look like a car that is right on the Zeitgeist, combining lots of technology in a package perfectly suited to the Urban Landscape. Not due to go on sale in the UK and Europe until later on this year, the Kona is due to go on sale in Korea this month, and this Kona video highlights just how much this compact urban SUV has to offer.
Aimed squarely at a market almost invented by the Nissan Juke, the video outlines many of the Kona’s features (although a chunk will be specification and price dependant), features you wouldn’t have found on a D-Segment car a few years ago, never mind a B-Segment SUV.
They include wireless Smartphone charging, Heads-up display, Android Auto and Apple Car Play, Krell Sound, seat ventilation and heating, High Beam Assist, 7-speed DCT ‘box, up to 176bhp if you opt for the 1.6 turbo, 4WD, 18″ alloys, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Warning and Forward Collision Avoidance.
Of course, the proof of the pudding will be in the driving, but Hyundai do know very well how to put together a car with dynamics to suit its demographic, and we’ve no doubt the Kona will be the same.
