James Bond will be driving an Aston Martin in the new Bond film SPECTRE, with the Aston Martin DB10 revealed as Bond 24 is confirmed at Pinewood.

The Aston Martin DB10 revealed at the SPECTRE reveal
James Bond has gone through many cars in its more than 50 year film history. But none carry the magic more than the Aston Martins Bond has driven, and now we know that the next Bond film – Bond 24 – will be titled SPECTRE and that James Bond will drive an Aston Martin DB10.
Revealed today at Pinewood by Bond director Sam Mendes, the Aston Martin DB10 doesn’t necessarily preview a new production DB10 – in fact, it looks more like an evolution of the Vantage to us – but clearly previews Aston Martin’s next generation of design. And it does look Aston Marting good.
The DB10 has been built specially for the new Bond film by a team led by Aston’s Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman, and Aston say they are building a maximum of ten cars. What they’re not saying is whether all ten will be used by the Bond film or will be offered to buyers.
Dr Andy Palmer, Aston Martin CEO, said:
In the same year that we celebrate our 50-year relationship with 007, it seems doubly fitting that today we unveiled this wonderful new sports car created especially for James Bond.
To be partnering once again with EON Productions is great news for this company and for everyone around the world that loves to see Bond at the wheel of an Aston Martin.
I’m incredibly proud of everyone in the team at Gaydon who have brought this special project from concept to reality.
The new Bond fil SPECTRE (which, for those who are too young to remember, stands for Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion) starts filming on Monday (8 December 2014) and stars, amongst others, Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Rory Kinnear with a seven month filming schedule and a release date of 6 November 2015.
We should, hopefully, get more on the new Aston Martin DB10 in the coming days or weeks.
