Following an appearance at Goodwood, Bentley has released new photos and video of the EXP 9 F SUV as its PR salvo continues.
Bentley EXP 9 F – the Bentley SUV to be that might be more loved if Bentley gave it a real name – made a static appearance at last weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, following which Bentley has released some new photos and a new video to put their monster SUV back in the news.
We did catch sight of the Bentley SUV at Goodwood – although it wasn’t especially high profile as it wasn’t blatting up the hillclimb, unlike Bentley’s other offerings from the new Continental GT Speed to the Bentley Blower – and it looked much the same as it did at Geneva.
But somehow, and maybe we’re just getting used to it, the EXP 9 F (please, Bentley, give us a proper name to work with) looks better in the latest photos and video Bentley has sent us.
We can’t discern any changes from the original concept; the Bentley SUV is still a posh, gargantuan shed on wheels. But somehow it looks more impressive and less objectionable in these latest photos and video. Mind you, using a real car instead of the feeble renderings in the last video of the EXP 9 F helps.
Maybe it’s Bentley’s plan to wear us down; keep showing their SUV until everyone thinks it looks alright after all. If it is, perhaps by the time the Bentley SUV arrives at Pebble Beach next month for its US debut we’ll all have fallen in love with it?

Actually i think it has got a size like a Range Rover Sport… I would change the beige/white/cream interior to black or dark brown! And a darker exterior colour would match better.

I think it looks nice! But, as a man, I don’t really like the color of the interior. I think it looks too feminine.

I read the comments before I saw the video and i prepared myself to see something ugly.
Exterior and interior are unbelievably amazing. I don’t like that colour but it looks beautiful on this car..
If you could do better than the designers who designed this masterpieces, show us what you’ve got.

I couldn’t put my finger on it at first, but I now know where Bentley got that front end look – it’s a 1960’s Studebaker Lark – the car which (I think) finished Studebaker off. Not a good omen I would have thought.

You may not be a million miles off!

This is exactly what i expected from a Bentley SUV. People who don’t like it don’t understand luxury and probably never had the means to experience it. Their judgement should not be taken for fact.

The interior of the car is NICE but the exterior… not so much.
