Photos of the BMW 640d xDrive, BMW’s 4WD 6 Series. Available as coupe or convertible we have photos of exterior and interior.
Now diesels are so smooth and appealing – particularly BMW diesels – putting a diesel in the range-topping 6 Series no longer seems sacrilege. Adding a 4WD platform for snowy winters in Northern Europe and America’s snow belt is also a fine idea, so the BMW 640d xDrive ticks a lot of appealing boxes.
Unfortunately, BMW’s 5 and 6 Series platform doesn’t translate to RHD and 4WD, so it looks like the new 640d xDrive will be a mainland Europe only car.
