The Ferrari 488 – Ferrari’s 458 replacement – gets its UK dynamic debut at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed alongside the best of Ferraris.
It’s three months since the Ferrari 488 GTB was revealed as a replacement for the 458, and it’s finally getting its UK dynamic debut this summer at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed, where it will be running on the hillclimb to strut its stuff in front of Goodwood’s appreciative crowd.Ferrari lovers will be keen to see – and hear – the 488, especially as it’s the first mid-engined Ferrari with turbo assistance since the 288 GTO and F40, and not only will the 488 be doing the hillclimb, it will also take part in the supercar run alongside the California T, F12berlinetta, LaFerrari and the F12 TRS.
But Ferrari aren’t just using Goodwood to let the 488 GTB strut its stuff, there’s plenty more on offer, including cars from Ferrari’s Corse Clienti division including the 599 XX, FXx and FXX-K.
Even Ferrari’s F1 heritage is on show at Goodwood, with their 2010 F10 Formula One car being driven by Marc Gene, as well as a strong showing of cars from private owners including Ferrari 250MM, Ferrari 641 and Ferrari 312T.
It’s an appealing turnout from Ferrari (you can check out the cars in the 2015 Ferrari line-up gallery), and one more reason to make sure you get your Goodwood tickets sorted.
The 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed runs from June 25-28.
