Fiat Panda Waze
There’s a new Fiat Panda special edition model – the Fiat Panda Waze – complete with Panda Cross looks and a Waze Sat Nav App built in.
The Fiat Panda Waze is a new limited edition model from Fiat, which does exactly what it says on the badge. And it’s a Panda Waze because Fiat has just about given up on all its models except the 500 and Panda. So you can probably expect a 500 Waze at some point too.Fiat has given the Panda Waze the looks of the Panda Cross – a bit rufty-tufty – and integrated the Waze App in to the Uconnect media in the Panda. Voila – a Fiat Panda Waze.
In case you didn’t know, the Panda is actually Europe’s best-selling City Car (although not the UK’s), so a limited edition model should do well for Fiat, pitched as it is at younger buyers.
The integrated Waze App lets drivers access the Waze App on the Panda’s screen and lets them tap in to the big online community reporting delays, accidents and hold-ups in real time, arguably making journeys quicker and less stressful.
The integrated Waze in the Panda also interacts with the Panda Uconnect App for Android and Apple, and can notify low fuel or low tyre pressure and direct you to a garage to top up.
Titivations to the regular Panda Cross in the Waze model include some Waze badging, black side mouldings, mirror caps, roof bars and door handles as well as black covers on the 15″ wheels.
Inside there’s new upholstery and a titanium grey dashboard, Bluetooth, Air Con, Hill Hold and more, and power comes from Fiat’s 1.2 litre petrol with 69bhp.
Fiat say the Panda Waze will be in dealerships in August, by which time they’ll have worked out a price.
