Ford Fiesta, Focus & B-Max get ‘Colourful’ special editions

Ford has revealed a series of special editions of their smaller cars, with Fiesta Zetec Black and White, B-MAX Colour Edition and Focus ST Red and Black.

Apart from those with deep pockets who consider a new car a perfectly reasonable Christmas present to give, car dealers struggle a bit around the festive season to shift the metal.

So Ford has done what car makers do and revealed a special edition or two in the hope it will tempt car buyers in to Ford showrooms. But they haven’t produced special editions of just one car – they’ve done it for three.

In fact, there’s the Fiesta Black and White Editions, the B-MAX colour Editions as well as Focus Zetec S Red and Black Editions.

That means that with prices from £13,645 there should be something to suit the budgets of new car buyers.

Fiesta Zetec Black and Fiesta White Editions

The Black and White Fiestas do pretty much what it says on the tin, with a choice of Frozen White or Panther Black paint jobs, and a contrasting roof and door mirrors.

Standard equipment includes 15″ alloys, privacy glass, power-folding door mirrors and puddle lights, with the interior getting white stitching on the gear knob and steering wheel and white inserts on the door handles (be still, my beating heart).

Engine choices are the lower power 1.0 litre EcoBoost with 100PS or the 1.2 litre Duratec with 82PS, in a choice of 3-door or 5-door from £13,645.

B-MAX Zetec Colour Editions

Ford has gone even firther with the B-MAX, offering the Zetec Red Edition, White Edition and Silver Edition (with Race Red, Frozen white and Moondust Silver paint jobs respectively) with black contrast roof and door mirrors and ‘sporty details’ like black front grill and body colour rear spoiler, 16″ black alloys, black diffuser and privacy glass.

Available for the first time with the 140PS version of the 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine as well as the 1.6 litre 105PS Powershift, the B-Max Colour editions cost from £15,745, with first cars due in spring 2016.

Focus Zetec S Red and Black Editions

The sporty Focus Zetec S gets two new special editions – the Red Edition and Black Edition – with a contrast roof, mirrors and grill surround.

The theme carries on inside, with a black painted centre stack, black leather gear lever gaiter, hand brake gaiter and sports steering wheel with contrast red stitching, as well as black sports seats with red stitching.

Both the Red and Black Editions get 19″ Panther Black alloys, black grill and race Red diffuser and sports suspension.

Only available as a 5-door, the Focus Zetec Red and Black Editions come with a choice of either the 182PS 1.5 litre petrol EcoBoost or the 2.0 litre Duratorq diesel with 150PS and six-speed manual gearbox.
