Honda CR-V S Plus Special Edition offers £1500 of extra FREE goodies, say Honda
The new Honda CR-V S Plus Special Edition arrives as a petrol or diesel to push Honda’s CR-V SUV sales by offering £1500 of extra equipment for free.
New cars sales have gone back to struggling again, so car makers are jumping in with ‘Special Edition’ models in even greater numbers to get buyers to part with their cash, as well as many joining the race for sales with ‘Scrappage’ offers.Honda hasn’t joined the throng with emissions scrappage deals, but it is going the ‘Special Edition’ route with this, the Honda CR-V S Plus Special Edition.
This new CR-V SUV is based on the Navi S spec and is available as a 2.0 litre petrol or 16.6 litre diesel, both with FWD and a manual gearbox.
Honda has given the S Plus a cosmetic tweak or three with body coloured aero bumpers, a spoiler on the tailgate and running boards, which do manage to subtly improve the CR-V;s stance.
Standard equipment is pretty good too, with Climate, Cruise, Bluetooth, reversing camera, City Brake and Honda’s Connect audio and info system with Garmin Sat Nav.
Dave Hodgetts, Honda’s UK MD, said:
This special edition CR-V is a fantastic addition to the world’s bestselling SUV line up, and will make for a great ending to 2017 for Honda in the UK.
The S Plus provides customers with approximately £1,500 of features for free, aligning with Honda’s objective of supplying products of the highest quality, at a reasonable price for utmost customer satisfaction.
Available in White Orchid Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Polished Metal Metallic and Passion Red Pearl, the CR-V S Plus Special Edition costs £23,500 for the petrol model and £24,500 for then diesel and will be available from the start of November.
