The Jaguar Roadster is on its way to Paris. The Jaguar C-X75
Jaguar are taking a concept car to Paris – The Jaguar C-X75 Concept – which Sherlock Holmes tells us is a small, hybrid sports car. The new Jaguar C-Type.

It’s Paris and it’s important and, whenever possible, car makers like to bring something new along to titilate the hacks and visitors and grab some column inches.
And we’ve been expecting something new from Jaguar for Paris. But apparently it’s not something we were actually expecting. It seems that the Jaguar C-X75 Concept Jaguar is taking to Paris is something new; something we’ve not touted before as a possibility this year. Which is a bit intriguing.
We’ve flagged up the possibility (we’d like to think probability) this year of the Jaguar XF Estate, the Jaguar XF Coupe and the Jaguar XJ TDV8 SuperSport as new additions to the Jaguar line-up. We also know that Jaguar are working on a replacement for the X-Type and on a small sports car which could be either the XE or the C-Type…
Aha! Is that it? A concept for the new small sports car? It’s probably the most plausible of the possibilities. We’re sure it’s none of our ‘Wanna-have’ Jags so, as a man from Baker Street once said, ‘When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth’.
So, we’re getting a concept from Jaguar of the new small sports car, the Jaguar C-Type. As this is 2010 it will probably feature some type of hybrid gubbins to make statement – perhaps even the Flywheel Hybrid being run round in the XF – and will turn in to a production Jaguar C-Type to hit the streets in 2012.
