Jaguar F-Type SVR Nurburgring passenger BLAST
The Jaguar Co-Pilot Nordschleife programme launches with the chance to be blasted round the Nurburgring in the Jaguar F-Type SVR as a passenger.
The ultimate (well, for now at least) Jaguar F-Type is the new Jaguar F-Type SVR, revealed in February and given a proper public debut in March at the New York Motor Show. With its supercharged 5.0 litre V8 producing 567bhp – and sending the power to all four wheels – it can hit 62mph in just 3.5 seconds and on to 200mph. All of which, say Jaguar, make it the perfect all-weather supercar.
But with prices starting from £110,000 (and 115,485 for the Convertible) the F-Type SVR is out of the reach of most, but you can still get a real taste of how powerful and capable the Jag is by stumping up €295 for a roller coaster ride round the Nurburgring with Jaguar.
For 16 weeks – from now until October – the Jaguar Co-Pilot Nordschleife programme will let you ride shotgun on a flying lap of the Nurburgring in the F-Type SVR to get a taste of just how extreme the F-Type’s performance and abilities are.
Sign up and you’ll be equipped with a race suit and helmet and HANS (that’s the head and neck support system), and Jaguar will film you as you are blasted round the 12.94-mile Nordschleife circuit.
Mark Stanton, JLR SVO Director, said:
The weather at the Nürburgring is famed for being unpredictable and the new Jaguar F-TYPE SVR is the perfect car to tackle the undulating track in variable conditions. Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations division has engineered the F-TYPE SVR to be lighter, faster and more powerful while still remaining a usable supercar every day.
The Nordschleife is a fantastic circuit on which to experience all of the engineering enhancements my team has applied to the F-TYPE SVR.
So if you fancy being chauffeured round the Nurburgring in an extreme way in the Jaguar F-Type SVR, just jump over to the Nurburgring Shop and relieve your credit card of €295.
