Jaguar XE, XF and XF Sportbrake 300 SPORT models
Jaguar is giving the XE and XF small improvements for 2019, heralded by the arrival of the 300 SPORT versions of the XE, XF and XF Sportbrake.
With Jaguar’s focus now shifting to SUVs – with the F-Pace, E-Pace and electric I-Pace – traditional Jaguar saloons are taking a bit of a back seat as sales for all saloon cars continue to fall, and some of Jaguar’s saloon models seemingly precipitously.
Perhaps Jaguar are hoping that some minor titivates for the 2019 MY will help fix that, so they’ve headlined the (very modest) updates with the launch of special edition 300 SPORT models for the XE, XF and XF Sportbrake to help further.
The XE 300 SPORT can only be had with Jaguar’s 2.0 litre 300PS petrol engine, but the XF and XF Sportbrake can also be optioned with the 300PS 3.0 litre V6 diesel.
They get Dark Satin Grey for the mirrors, rear spoiler and grille surround – as well as ‘300 SPORT’ badges – 19″ or 20″ alloys in Technical Grey, ‘300 SPORT’ brake calipers, yellow contrast stitching inside as well as branded treadplates, sport mats and embossed headrests.
Colour choices are limited, with the XF 300 SPORT available in only Yulong White, Indus Silver or Santorini Black, with the XE getting an additional Caldera Red option
Changes across the rest of the XE and XF range are even more modest, with the 10″ TouchPro infotainment now standard on all models, extra chrome on the switches and better quality carpets looking to be about it.
Available to order now from Jaguar’s UK dealers, the XE 300 SPORT starts at £44,755 and the XE 300 SPORT from £46,330.
