The Jaguar XJR575 – which made an appearance at Goodwood this year – is revealed as the most powerful Jaguar XJ ever. Costs from £93,710 .
Last month, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Jaguar turned up with a camouflaged XJ complete with ‘575’ painted on the body.
Jaguar weren’t giving out any details at Goodwood, but the result of that outing is this – the new Jaguar XJR575.
The tweaks to the XJR575 deliver 575PS and 700Nm of torque from the Jag’s 5.0 litre Supercharged V8, enough to scoot the XJR575 to 62mph in 4.4 seconds and on to 186mph.
Jaguar has given the XJR575 an electronic active diff to give it half a chance of coping with the additional power, and it comes with Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist and Driver Condition Monitoring to help keep you safe.
There’s just two special paint jobs on offer from Jaguar’s SVO – Velocity Blue and Satin Corris Grey – which cover the added titivations of rear spoiler, side sills and front bumper, with the lower air intakes at the front getting gloss black surrounds.
Other tweaks include new badging, twin bonnet louvres, red brake callipers, 20″ Farallon gloss black alloys, quilted seats and embossed tread plates.
The Jaguar XJ575 is available to order from Jaguar’s UK dealers, with a starting price of £93,710.
