Jaguar’s GO I-PACE App shows you how an I-Pace will fit your life (video)

Jaguar has developed an App – the Go I-PACE – which will show you how the new Jaguar I-Pace will fit in your life and make it easier and cheaper to drive.

Now the gloss of its launch is starting to fade, the Jaguar I-Pace is fighting for real sales in the real world. And as promising as the new I-Pace appears, many are still reluctant to jump in to an EV.

So Jaguar has developed a cunning plan, and have produced an App – the Go I-PACE – which will show you just how well the new I-Pace will suit your life, and save you money. 

Oddly, Jaguar seems to be offering the Go I-PACE App only as an Apple App. Perhaps they think the 80 per cent of Smartphone users who use Android aren’t cool enough for an I-Pace?

Still, the App looks to be a very good way to demonstrate just how an I-Pace will fit in to your life, and all without ever even needing to get behind the wheel of Jaguar’s new electric SUV.

The new App garners journey data as you go about your everyday drives, showing how much battery you would have used if you’d been in an I-Pace, and calculates how much you would save in an I-Pace and how often you’d actually need to stop to recharge.

Ian Hoban, Jaguar’s I-Pace Line Director, said:

Making the switch to EV ownership is a big decision. We’re confident anyone who experiences the I-PACE will relish its engaging driving dynamics, performance, practicality and comfort. What a test drive doesn’t show is the lower running costs and convenience of living with our electric performance SUV on a daily basis. The Go I-PACE app is designed to help potential customers make an informed decision.
