Salon Privé has announced that this years show at the Hurlingham club will include the Lexus LFA.
We reported last week that all the Lexus LFAs that are destined for the Japanese market have already been sold. We also hear from Lexus that they have had more ‘Expressions of Interest’ on the LF-A than they expected, so much so that they believe the LFA will sell out almost immediately.
‘Expressions of Interest’ and real orders are two very different things, but it does seem clear that despite the huge price tage of £336,000 the Lexus LF-A is going to sell in very short order. And with only 20 cars destined for the UK the LF-A is going to be a very rare sight on UK roads.
But you can get to see one. Not just see one but even get in and have a play if you grab tickets for this year’s Salon Privé at the Hurlinghma Club in July. This will be one of the very few places the LFA will turn up on public view in the UK, and probably the only place you can actually get up-close and personal with the Lexus Supercar.
Other Supercars on offer at this year’s Salon Privé include the Aston Martin Rapide and the latest Veritas. The Concours d’Elégance Categories for this year have also been announced and are:
- Bugatti (pre-war)
- Alfa Romeo (pre 1940)
- Shooting Brakes
- Hollywood in the 50’s (Big fin convertibles)
- Jaguar (75 year celebration)
- Hypercars (200mph +)
- Superbikes of the 70’s.
As we never tire of telling you. Salon Privé; cracking good day out.
