The 2016 Mercedes E-Class Estate was revealed back in June, but when Mercedes announced UK prices and specs for the new E-Class Estate, it was all a bit of a damp squib. All Mercedes managed to come up with was prices and specs for the E 220 d Estate, although they made promises that they would get their abacus out and work out prices for the E 200 d, E 350 d and E 43 by October. Well, October’s here and Mercedes has managed to deliver prices and specs.
The only E-Class Estate actually available to order back in July – the E 220 d Estate – seems to have crept up in price to £38,230 since July, and it’s now undercut by the E 200 d starting at £36,735, with the E 350 d at £47,255 and the lively Mercedes-AMG E 43 at £58,290.

Away from the oil-burners, the new AMG E 43 gets the bi-turbo 3.0 litre V6 petrol with 385bhp, enough to propel the not insignificantly sized E-Class Estate to 62mph in a very impressive 4.7 seconds. All the new models come with Mercedes 9G-Tronic auto ‘box.
