F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone’s Christmas Card
It’s Christmas day – a day to relax and unwind with family, friends, food and drink – so may all of us at Cars UK wish you, our readers,a very Merry Christmas.
It’s Christmas Day once again, and the one day in the year we take off from the latest Car News. So if you were expecting petrolhead news and updates today then we’re very sorry but we’ll be escaping for the day!
Just as we have in previous years, we greet you on Christmas Day with F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone’s Christmas Card, which this year features Lewis Hamilton (for the third time in the last few years) and Nico Rosberg.
Poking fun at the fragile relationship between the two Mercedes drivers, Bernie’s cartoon shows Lewis showered in the gifts that come with winning the drivers championship this year, and alludes to Nico’s too late return to form, and to the cap throwing incident between Lewis and Nico.
But it’s Bernie’s comment on the inside of the card that’s raise eyebrows. It says:
It’s Christmas again with a new year coming. Just enjoy Christmas and don’t think about the next year.
What Bernie has planned – or is expecting to happen – we have no idea, but he certainly doesn’t seem to be too keen on the New Year arriving. If you can bothered on this day of brain inactivity, let us know if you’ve got a take on Bernie’s comments below.
