Abarth extends it Fiat 500-based offerings with the arrival in the UK of the Abarth 595 Pista offering some extra power and additional titivations.
We noted yesterday, when we revealed the new Fiat 500X Sport, that it’s now got to the point where if you want a Fiat you only have a choice of the 500 or the Panda. And for Abarth, Fiat’s go-faster bit – there is no choice at all – it’s the Abarth ‘500s’ or nothing.
So it should be no surprise that Abarth has decided there’s room to squeeze one more offering in the 595 offerings – somewhere in the middle of the range – as that’s all it can do. Say hello to the Abarth 595 Pista.
The 595 Pista gets a new Garrett turbo which delivers more torque at lower revs and ups output to 163bhp and comes with a Record Monza Active exhaust and Koni rear suspension bits for better handling as well as an Abarth braking system and MTA gearbox with flappy paddles.
The paint job is a new matt grey with green details, and the interior gets new seats with new upholstery as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with the Uconnect 7″ HD and DAB as standard.
Prices for the Abarth 595 Pista start at £19,135.
