The new V10 Audi R8 – revealed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show – will cost from £119,500 for the V10 up to £137,500 for the V10 Plus. On sale UK May 2015.
The 2015 Audi R8 finally arrived in Geneva last week and goes on sale in the UK in May. And with no V8 model as an entry-level, the cheapest new R8 is the regular V10 – which costs £119,500 – and if you want the V10 Plus that’ll be a slightly hefty £137,500.
Inside there’s Nappa leather, electric bucket seats on the V10 Plus, multi-function flat-bottomed steering wheel, Audi’s ‘Virtual Cockpit’, controllable exhaust noise, Performance Mode on the V10 Plus, Audi Connected Interface with Wi-Fi hotspot and MMI Nav.
Other goodies include an electrically extending spoiler on the V10 and a big fixed one in carbon sigma on the V10 Plus, parking sensors, auto lights and wipers and interior lighting package.
With the entry-level V10 offering 553bhp and 0-62mph in 3.5 seconds and the V10 Plus a huge 602bhp and 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds, you’re getting plenty of bang for your buck.
And if the list price doesn’t hurt too much you’ll be able to spend plenty more with options like interior and exterior colour and trim choices, Bang and Olufsen sound and adding some of the V10 Plus only spec – like laser spotlights and bucket seats – to the regular V10.
The new Audi R8 goes on sale at Audi’s UK dealers in May 2015, with first deliveries expected before the end of the year.
