New Hyundai Kona Hybrid UK Prices and Specifications announced

Prices and specifications for the new hybrid Hyundai Kona have been announced, with prices starting at £22,485 for the Kona SE Hybrid.

Hyundai revealed the hybrid take on the Kona back in June, and it’s now managed to power up its abacus and work out how much you’ll have to pay, and what the specs are.

The hybrid gubbins is nicked from the Hyundai Ioniq, which means a 1.6 GDi Atkinson cycle petrol with a 32kW electric motor powered by a small 1.56kWh battery delivering 139bhp to the front wheels through a six-speed dual clutch ‘box.

Starting point for the Kona Hybrid is the SE model (from 22,495) which comes with Climate, 16″ wheels, ‘Blue Drive’ badges, white accents on the interior, 7″ touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear parkin sensors and camera, AEB with pedestrian and cyclist detection and stop-start.

The Kona Hybrid Premium (from £24,295) adds KRELL Sound, Keyless, wireless phone charging, auto wipers, front fogs, 10.25″ touchscreen with Sat Nav, Intelligent Speed Warning, Blind Spot and Rear Cross Traffic.

The range-topping Kona Hybrid Premium SE (from £27,195) goes further still with LED headlights with high beam assist, LED tail lights, leather, and heated and ventilated electric front seats.
