New Lexus LC Limited Edition
Lexus announces a Limited Edition mode, of the LC Coupe, complete with an exclusive Terrane Khaki paint job and contrasting leather trim.
There really isn’t much not to like about the glorious Lexus LC Coupe, although it would be nice to see a proper performance hit the showrooms at some point. But with its stunning looks and appealing, naturally-aspirated V8 – or the hybrid version if you’re feeling ‘green’ – it’s a properly appealing buy.
Now, Lexus has decided it’s time to add a little extra gloss to the LC with a new Limited Edition, not a limited edition offering more power but one offering some interesting cosmetic tweaks.
The highlight is the unusual Terrane Khaki paint job, which looks better than it sounds, and which Lexus say adds a depth of colour to compliment the LC’s lines, along with a set of two-tone 21″ alloys.
Lexus has more or less gone for the classic ‘Green and Tan’ combination by fitting the interior of the LC with contrasting leathers for the trim and seats, with seats covered in beautiful Saddle Tan leather, with a contrasting darker tone on the door panel inserts and Black Amber leather highlighting other elements.
There’s even a laser-cut design inspired by the LC’s rear lights on the scuff plates, with the rest of the car getting the same spec as the standard LC including Mark Levinson Sound, Climate, Glass Roof and Lexus Safety System+.
The new LC Limited Edition is now on sale at Lexus’ UK dealers. There’s no pricing information yet, but expect it to be around a couple of grand more than a regular LC 500 or LC 500h.
