The new Lexus NX SUV – the Lexus answer to the Range Rover Evoque – is now on sale in the UK and will costs from £29,495 for the NX 300h S. Arrives October 2014.
The new Lexus NX Compact SUV – the Lexus answer to the impressive market penetration of the Range Rover Evoque – was revealed at the Beijing Motor Show last month, and is now on sale in the UK priced from £29,495.
For your £29,495 you’ll get the entry-level Lexus NX 300h S, which is only available with front-wheel-drive, and gets 17″ alloys, LED headlights (low beam only) and running lights, Pre-Crash, Adaptive Cruise, Climate, DAB, Hill Control, Electric folding mirrors, Lexus Media Display and Drive Mode Select, with the next rung up SE spec adding 4WD, roof rails, 18″ alloys, auto wipers and heated front seats with prices starting at £31,495 for the NX 300h SE AWD.
Head up to the Luxury trim and you can add in LED Fogs, Privacy Glass, heated electric front seats, parking sensors, smart entry and silver trim inserts and scuff plates. The Lexus NX NX 300h Luxury AWD will cost from £34,495.
Next up comes the NX F Sport with, which gets the typical F Sport styling, also has 18″ two-tone alloys, full LED headlights, F Sport electric front seats, F Sport suspension and dampers, electric steering column, power tailgate and wireless phone charging and costs from £36,995 for the NX 300h F Sport AWD.
Top of the initial offerings is the £42,995 Lexus NX 300h Premier AWD which comes bountifully equipped with all the above plus unique 18″ alloys, auto dimming door mirrors, heated and ventilated front seats with driver memory, Mark Levinson sound, Card Key, Lexus Premium Nav, 360-degree Panoramic View, Lane Keep Assist, Heads-up display, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and heated steering wheel.
Options include Lexus Nav at £995, Lexus Premium Nav (only for the F Sport) at £1,995, Convenience Pack (wireless phone charger and power tailgate) at £495, Sunroof (£1,000), Adaptive Variable Suspension (F Sport only) at £750 and metallic paint for £645.
On the way for 2015 is the addition of the NX 200t F Sport with new 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine as well as the initial hybrid-only offerings.
The Lexus NX is now available to order, and lexus say first customer cars (or the hybrids, at least) will arrive with UK customer in October 2014.
