New Nissan GT-R Nismo on sale in the UK
The 2020 Nissan GT-R Nismo arrives in the UK as Nissan’s GT-R range-topper, with less weight but a chunky price tag – £174,995.
We’ve already seen one new Nissan GT-R go on sale in the UK this month – the Nissan GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition – as Nissan celebrate 50 years of GT-R.
If the Nissan GT-R was a more prosaic car, you’d expect the anniversary model to be the best GT-R there could be. But it’s not. This is – the new Nissan GT-R Nismo, and it’s now on sale in the UK.
Yes, the bonkers new GT-R Nismo has now arrived in the UK, and it’s going to cost you £174,995. Which isn’t exactly cheap. In fact, it’s around £25k more than the last GT-R Nismo.
So what do you get for the same sort of money that would buy you a McLaren 570S Spider?
Well, you get carbon fibre bumpers and a carbon fibre roof, forged alloys shod with bespoke tyres, ceramic brakes, turbos from a GT3 race car, Nismo-tuned suspension and a gearbox that’s a bit cleverer and a bit quicker than it was.
Colour choices for the new GT-R Nismo are Solid Red, Jet Black Pearl, Super Silver Quadcoat and Pearl White Tricoat, all with black mirrors so anoraks know you’re driving a Nismo.
