With the new 911 heading for Frankfurt in a couple of weeks, Porsche are upping the PR with new photos, new video and the new 911 Configurator going live.

The 2012 Porsche 911 will officially arrive in a couple of weeks time at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and Porsche are taking every opportunity to shove the latest 911 under our noses. And who can blame them?

We had the official reveal of the new 911 just over a week ago, with plenty of detail and a decent amount of photos – enough to satiate the appetites of all but the 911 nutters until Frankfurt arrives. Or so we thought – but Porsche obviously didn’t.

Fast forward a few days and we got the first new 911 video drop in to our inbox and, judging by the traffic, Porsche were right to keep up the interest; the video story has had even more views than the original photo/detail one.

And now we bring both pieces together with a huge number of new photos of the 2012 911 in the gallery – 80 in total – and a pair of videos too; one is a TV spot from Germany and the other a brief 911 history.

And if all that isn’t quite enough for every 911 anorak out there, Porsche has even launched a configurator for the 2012 911 so you can while away endless hours building the 911 of your dreams.
