New Range Rover Evoque gets a ‘PUKKA’ workout in London

The new Range Rover Evoque has been out in London with celebrity chef Jamie Oliver let loose on Land Rover’s updated Evoque.

Land Rover like a bit of celebrity endorsement, so with the new Range Rover Evoque now on sale it’s time to find someone with a famous face to come and have a play. Step forward Jamie Oliver.

Despite being on sale in the UK, Land Rover obviously didn’t have a UK spec car to play with, so they gave Jamie a left-hand drive model – with UK plates – to have a blat round London, see what the Evoque can do and, inevitably, end up knocking up a bit of grub.

Going back to his Pukka Naked Chef days (we know, he doesn’t do ‘Pukka’ any more, but if Land Rover are doing Naked Chef…), Jamie swapped his scooter for the Evoque to shop for ingredients on Brick Lane, and Land Rover set up a diversion through water and ramps in Bishopsgate Good Yard so we could see the Evoque isn’t just a city 4×4, with a bit of a showcase for Land Rover’s new ClearSight Rear View and Ground View too.

At the end of the jaunt Jamie rocked up at at Land Rover’s Evoque Experience to knock up some very tasty-looking veggie burgers.
