New Toyota Prius Model teased
A new Toyota Prius model is being teased ahead of a debut at the 2016 New York Motor Show, with a single image showing tail lights.
It’s only a few months since the 2016 Toyota Prius went on sale in the UK, but Toyota are already teasing the arrival of a new Prius model for debut at the 2016 New York Motor Show. But what is it?All we have to go on is the single image (above) Toyota has released, and what that seems to tell us is that this is unlikely to be the plug-in version of the new Prius.
The tail lights on the new Prius are distinctly uptight, but those on this tease span the width of the car which, to our eyes, looks more like a saloon car that a hatchback.
Of course, this could be a new version of the Prius V – the Prius MPV – or it could be a new take on the Prius C, the compact Prius we don’t get in the UK, but we’re not entirely sure either of those options make much sense either.
All Toyota are actually saying is that the new model will have stand-out styling and intelligent eco-tech and that it will be revealed on 23 March.
We’ll find out then.
