The Vauxhall Zafira Tourer MPV has been given a facelift for 2017 with an Astra-inspired makeover inside and out and new technology.
The 20917 Vauxhall Zafira Tourer has been revealed as a facelifted version of the current car, but with a makeover that gives the Zafira a strong resemblance to the latest Astra.Up front there are new headlights, double-winged daytime running lights, a new grille and bigger wheelarches, which make the Zafira look more purposeful and just like an Astra MPV.
Inside, the Astra-inspired makeover continues, with a new dash with a new 7″ infotainment screen in the middle helping reduce the button count, a new steering wheel and the R4.0 IntelliLink with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto or the Navi 950 IntelliLink if you opt for Sat Nav.
Vauxhall OnStar is also standard across the range, offering Automatic Crash Response, Destination Download (if you’ve opted for Sat Nav) and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot for up to seven devices.
A new Adaptive Forward Light LED system (AFL) automatically adjust the light pattern to suit conditions and traffic, including curve and cornering functions, there’s a new generation Front Camera System to support the AFL, Traffic Sign Assist, Following Distance Indicator and Forward Collision Alert, and Lane Departure Warning kicks in at 37mph. Options include Adaptive Cruise and FlexiRide.
The new Vauxhall Zafira Tourer won’t arrive in Vauxhall’s UK showrooms until October (we assume after a Paris Motor Show public debut), by which time Vauxhall should have worked out prices and model specifications.
