Peugeot 508 First Edition kicks off new 508 sales in the UK
The new Peugeot 508 has had its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show, with Peugeot announcing UK sales will start with na 508 First Edition. Just 200 units available.
It might seem like Peugeot is focussed entirely on SUVs these days, as they turn MPVs in to SUVs – like the 3008 and 5008 – and tap in to the liveliest part of the new car market. But Peugeot continue to build very good hatchbacks too – like the 208 and 308 – and they’re even fighting back with a new D-Segment saloon – the 2018 Peugeot 508.
Revealed a few weeks ago, the new Peugeot 508 gets some interesting Fastback styling to stand out from more mundane rep-mobiles and family saloons with a car that looks good, has a premium feel interior and yet still has five-door convenience.
Now, with the new 508 getting its public debut in Geneva, we get the Peugeot 508 First Edition to kick off sales in the UK, with just 200 units available.
Peugeot has thrown most of its options at the First Edition, so you get automated parking assist, 360° cameras, night vision and wireless Smartphone charging.
Engine options are either the PureTech 225 petrol or BlueHDi 180 diesel, with the petrol starting at £36,975 and the diesel at £37,400, and early orders will get four years free servicing and a set of FOCAL wireless headphones too.
If you fancy a Peugeot 508 First Edition, you can get your order in (£250 deposit) at any of Peugeot’s UK dealers, or by doing it online.
