UK price and spec for the Peugeot 508 SW Estate announced
UK prices and specs for the new Peugeot 508 SW Estate are finally announced, with four trim levels and six engine choices and pries starting from £26,845.
It’s almost exactly a year since the Peugeot 508 SW Estate was revealed as Peugeot’s stylish estate take on the (also stylish) new 508, with the promise it would arrive in the UK in January. But it didn’t.
But now, a year on from its reveal, Peugeot has decided its new D-Segment Estate is ready for the UK, and have released price and specification details for the new range of 508 estates.
The 508 SW is available in Active, Allure, GT Line and GT trim (and, for a short while, a First Edition trim) and a choice of six engines – two petrol and four diesel – with prices starting from £26,845.
All models get Peugeot’s i-Cockpit with 12.3″ digital instruments and either 8″ or 10″ infotainment with Emergency Brake Assist, Speed Limit Recognition, Mirror Link, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Entry-level Active trim – which starts at £26,845 – comes with 17″ alloys, Connected 3D Nav, auto lights and DAB, and Allure trim (from £28,145) with Active Suspension, Active Blind Spot, SmartBeam Assistance, Keyless, 10″ infotainment screen, electric front seats and 180-degree camera.
GT Line models (from 29,895) adds LED headlights, Peugeot i-Cockpit Amplify and Peugeot’s 3D Claw Effect tail lights, with range-topping GT models (from £38,020) getting Drive Assist Pack Plus, Adaptive Cruise, Lane Positioning Assist, FOCAL Sound, Nappa leather and 19″ two-tone alloys.
For a short while – and with just 75 available in the UK – you can also have a 508 SW First Edition which adds Night Vision Technology and Visio Park 3 with 360-degree reversing camera and automated parking assistance. It costs from £40,819.
Engine choices are four diesel and tow petrol versions using Peugeot’s 1.6-litre PureTech, 1.5-litre BlueHDi and 2.0-litre BlueHDi engines, and from the end of this year you’ll also be able to have a 225bhp Plug-in version too.
Peugeot say that despite the late arrival of prices and specs for the new 508 SW Estate, first UK customer cars will arrive next month.
