Subaru WRX STi Final Edition is goodbye to the WRX STI
The Subaru WRX STi Final Edition arrives and looks like a fond farewell to Subaru’s mad road cars as they take a new ‘Green’ direction. Costs from £33,995.
The Subaru WRX STi has been with us for more than two decades as a performance Impreza model, but as Subaru move on the WRX STi is being sacrificed. So we guess the Viziv Concept we saw at Tokyo wasn’t the new WRX STi after all?
So this is your last chance to buy a WRX STi, with the aptly named Subaru WRX STi Final Edition, which gets a few tweaks and titivations and will cost you £33,995.
Chief amongst the titivations is an electronic centre diff, but the basics remain much the same with 296bhp from the 2.5 litre turbo Boxer engine delivering 0-62mph in 5.2 seconds.
Bigger wheels are also part of the package, with the new 19″ alloys covering Brembo brakes, the front bumper gets a bit louder and the back wing rather bigger.
There’s a few interior tweaks to add to the Final Edition too, with a set of heated seats in the front, 5.9″ display and an updated infotainment with DAB and rear view camera, as well as some shiny black trim bits.
The WRX STI Final Edition is now available to order from Subaru’s dealers, but only 150 are available so you’d better get a shift on.
