Top Gear Series 27 TRAILER arrives
Although there’s no start date for Series 27 of Top Gear, the BBC has dropped a trailer showing the antics of Flintoff, McGuinness and Harris.
The last series of Top Gear was the last with what had become a perfectly decent presenting trio of Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris and Rory Reid.
But Matt LeBlanc decided that filming Top Gear was just too much like hard work (and probably massively underpaid after Friends) so he’s packed it in, Rory Reid has been demoted to Extra Gear and we have new presenters for Series 27.
As we already know, the two new headline faces are former cricketer Freddie Flintoff and comedian and presenter Paddy McGuinness, and although we really have no idea how they’ll get on we have had a bit of a clue with a short trailer a few months ago.
But now, as the launch of Series 27 of Top Gear nears (although the BBC has yet to announce a date) Top Gear is back with a new trailer for the new series. And it doesn’t look half bad.
Clearly the humour is going to be more in yer face than previously, but, from what we can see, there does seem to be chemistry between the newcomers and Chris Harris.
Adventures appear to include japes from Wales to Ethiopia, the hearse we saw in the last trailer, supercars, lots of muddy outings, banger racing, classic Minis, an electrocuted McGuinness, a family of ‘Stigs’ and much more too.
Doubtless we’ll be in for another tease of three before Series 27 actually arrives.
