Top Gear tonight – Series 26, Episode 3 – features the new Bentley Continental GT, new Porsche 911 GT2 RS and Megane RS. Gregory Porter is SIARFC.
Tonight (3 March 2019) sees the third episode of series 26 of Top Gear air on BBC2, and it means the last series with the current lineup (Matt LeBlanc is off back to his ranch to put his feet up) is now more than halfway through.
The ‘supercar’ bit of tonight’s episode focuses on the latest Porsche 911 GT2 RS, with Chris Harris trying his best to cope with the GT2 RS’s fearsome reputation in what looks like monsoon conditions at Dunsfold.
The soon to be sidelined Rory Reid gets a piece to himself as he tries to find out if there’s actually any of Renault’s bonkers hot hatch DNA left in its latest offering – the Megane RS – or whether it’s just another mainstream hot hatch.
It’s out on a little adventure for Matt LeBlanc and Chris Harris as they take the new Bentley Continental GT out for a two man review on a bit of a road trip.
It may give the pair the chance to argue about whether the Conti is better than the DB11 (the interior certainly is), and it seems TG has thrown a Le Mans-winning racecar in to the mix by way of comparison. For some reason.
Star in a Reasonably Fast Car this week is the golden-voiced Gregory Porter. And yes, he does wear his ‘Balaclava’ under his crash helmet.
Top Gear Series 26 Episode 3 airs tonight at 8pm on BBC2.
