Toyota C-HR Design heads Toyota’s C-HR updates for 2018
The Toyota C-HR Crossover gets updated for 2018 with a new C-HR Design trim, improved levels on other trims and new customisation options.
The Toyota C-HR is a funky little Crossover, and when we reviewed the C-HR last year we were properly impressed with just how good the C-HR really is. And now Toyota are improving the C-HR further for 2018.The headline is a new Design trim level for the C-HR, but there’s also upgrades across other models in the C-HR range too.
The Toyota C-HR Design is a new trim option which, say Toyota, majors on style and comfort, with 18″ alloys, Privacy glass, auto-folding heated door mirrors, welcome illumination, ambient lighting and smart entry.
Also included are heated front seats, Toyota Touch 2 with Go multimedia with Sat Nav and online services, parking sensors front and back and even Park Assist.
As well as the new Design trim, Excel models get upgraded to full leather and rear LEDs, and C-HR Dynamic models gets 18″ matt black alloys; there’s also a new colour choice – Cyan Blue – and more customisation including contrast colours for sills, bumper inserts, boot trim, fogs and mirrors.
Options include leather and JBL Sound for Design and Dynamic and Icon can option the Tech Pack.
Nearly 80 per cent of C-HR buyers opt for the hybrid powertrain, but there is a 1.2 litre petrol – which isn’t half bad – as well if you’re not happy going hybrid or want 4WD, which isn’t available on the Hybrid.
The new Toyota C-HR is now on sale at Toyota’s UK dealers with prices starting at £21,880.
