The Vauxhall ADAM S is heading to the Geneva Motor Show this week as a 148bhp pocket-rocket ADAM with performance chassis.
The Vauxhall ADAM S heading for a debt at Geneva this week may be billed a concept, but it’s a racing certainty it will turn up in a Vauxhall showroom near you before too long.
With a 1.4 litre Turbo ECOTEC engine good for 148bhp, the ADAM S promises to be properly lively around town (Vauxhall hasn’t decided how quick it is to 62mph yet) and will reach 137mph if you feel the need.
Thankfully, Vauxhall has also endowed the ADAM S with a performance chassis to make the most of the extra performance and tweaked the steering for more feedback. They’ve also fitted a set of VXR performance S brakes to make sure the ADAM S stops and 18″ alloys to make sure it looks good.
The ‘ADAM S’ moniker might not sound silly enough for an ADAM, but don’t worry – Vauxhall has that covered with the ADAM S’s unique ‘Red ‘n Roll’ trim spec.
That takes the butch look of the Adam S with its body kit and big alloys and throws in Red paintwork with anthracite grey roof, carbon-look highlights, Recaros in Morrocana and leather, red and white flashes inside, privacy glass, Climate, LED running lights and tail lights and good connectivity.
The Vauxhall ADAM S debuts at Geneva this week and we can’t see it changing much for production.
