Lister SUV-E – a Jaguar I-Pace with added bite
Jaguar modifiers Lister have plans to give the electric Jaguar I-Pace added bite, preview by the Lister SUV-E. Prices start at £125,000.
Lister like to take Jaguars and turn them in to something more individual and more powerful – as well as much louder – with cars like the F-Type Lister Thunder and the F-Pace Lister LFP.But the world is moving on and big, thunderous petrol-guzzling beasts, however appealing, are not going to be around for ever. So Lister is turning its attentions to the electric Jaguar I-Pace.
The Lister SUV-E (pictured above) is Lister’s idea of what an individual and fettled I-Pace should be, and as well as adding lashings of carbon fibre they’re also promising some performance tweaks too.
The SUV-E will still weigh almost as much as a small bungalow, but Lister has trimmed it by 100kg by using carbon fibre for the body kit and bonnet, and fitted a set of carbon ceramic discs too, along with titanium wheels and adjustable aero kit and lowered suspension.
Lister aren’t saying exactly how much extra oomph the new SUV-E has compared to the regular I-Pace, but the software update will release more power and torque.
Prices will start at £125,000, but with Lister offering any colour you like, a selection of 60 leather colours and, probably, just about anything you can think of to gild your SUV-E, the price will rise significantly from there.
Lister says:
Whilst at Lister petrol runs through our veins instead of blood, we cannot ignore the interest in electric vehicles, especially as a low-tax company car offering. We are therefore introducing the SUV-E concept based on the Jaguar I-Pace as an opportunity for those interested in electric power to own a truly unique and bespoke electric vehicle.
So, Lister’s E-SUV or a Porsche Taycan Turbo S?
