Bugatti Veyron Super Sport - carbon fibre special for Chinese client
Bugatti has shown two Chinese customer cars at the Shanghai Motor Show, a carbon fibre Veyron Super Sport & a Matte White Veyron Grand Sport.
Really, we don’t need to look at economic groups of nations – like the G8 or G20 – to judge how affluent a country is, or is becoming. We should just look which countries buy a custom-built Bugatti Veyron.
After all, titivating a Bugatti Veyron – any Bugatti Veyron – means there has to be a decent amount of cash floating around at the top of the financial tree.
So we’ll take it as a vote from Bugatti that China is now an affluent country as they’ve been gifted a pair of Verons – custom-built for Chinese clients – and revealed at the Shanghai Motor Show this week.
First up is the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, which is a Chinese customer car finished to his/her exacting specifications. Finished in matte white with blue carbon elements and blue finished alloys. The interior is also blue, with white stitching on the seats and an aluminium console.
The other Shanghai-Special is a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport finished in black visible carbon fibre with contrasting polished and anodised aluminium. Inside there’s two-tone leather in ‘Snow Biege’ and Beluga Black’ and carbon fibre everything that’s not leather. The Super Sport is also a customer car.

It seems likely that in the future it’s going to be the completely standard Bugatti Veyrons that will be worth the most – they’ll definitely be the rarest.
