Bentley reveals a First Edition model of the new Torcal EV with the most powerful powertrain and lots of bells and whistles.
It’s only been a month since the electric Bentley Torcal debuted as Bentley’s first electric car, with underpinnings from the new Porsche Cayenne Electric, with an entry-level Torcal coming with 811bhp and a Torcal S with a more fulsome 872bhp, good for 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds and on to 162mph.What we also discovered when the Torcal arrived was that it was more ‘affordable’ than we might have expected for an electric Bentley, with prices for the entry-level model starting at £173,300 and the Torcal S at £199,300.
Now, we get the arrival of the Torcal First Edition, which comes with many bells and whistles and a starting price of…we don’t know, because Bentley won’t say. But probably getting on for £250k.
For your extra wad of cash, you get a First Edition which comes with the more powerful S’s powertrain and many extras, including 22″ two-tone alloys, bits of carbon fibre, grey calipers, powered front and rear doors, fancy ‘Frosted Diamond’ sunroof and Naim sound. There’s also bespoke seat quilting with contrasting chevrons.
Bentley says:
First Edition brings together exceptional performance, distinctive design and an extraordinary level of standard equipment. Features and finishes normally available individually have been carefully curated to create a compelling expression of the Torcal, combining effortless performance with standout presence and exquisite craftsmanship.
