Aston Martin have embarked on a tour of its UK dealers with the new Vanquish to show its latest supercar to both dealers and customers.
But with a public debut at the Paris Motor Show in just a few week’s time, Aston Martin has been ramping up the PR for the new Vanquish with new photos and new video in the last week, and now they’re off to show the Vanquish to dealers and the Aston Martin faithful alike.
The tour kicked off yesterday at the newly revamped Aston Martin Works dealership in Newport Pagnell and will move on to hit all 21 of Aston Martin’s UK dealers. with the Vanquish transported from dealer to dealer in s specially created truck with Vanquish branding.
The new Vanquish may just be yet another take on the ten year old DB9, but it’s a convincing one. It looks for more dynamic and aggressive than the DB9 (or even the DBS), costs £190k, does 0-62mpg in 4.1 seconds and can hit 183mph.
Aston Martin’s Mark Kenworthy said:
The levels of interest in new Vanquish that we’ve been experiencing here in the UK as well as around the world – and even before a single customer has driven the car – have inspired this tour.
I’m sure those lucky enough to see the new car close up over the coming days will be thrilled by it, and I’m very happy that we’ve been able to give our UK dealers this opportunity.
If you’re an Aston Martin VIP you’ve probably already had an invite to take a look at the new Vanquish (and if you hadn’t you should be giving your AM dealer a call), but if you’re not then you need to get along to the Paris Motor Show for a good look.
