It seems the drop-top version of Spyker’s appealing B6 Venator – the Spyker B6 Venator Spyder – will debut as a concept at Pebble Beach next month.

Earlier this year we managed to trawl through the rather dry annual report from Spyker and discovered that plans were afoot for a Spyder version of the B6 Ventador Concept we first saw at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
That whisper has now been given additional credence with a report from Autoblog that a voice in Spyker has revealed that the B6 Venator Spyder will actually get its first outing at Pebble Beach in less than three weeks.
If that’s true, and it does fit in with all we’ve heard so far on the Spyder’s first appearance as a concept, then we hope that Victor Muller is also well underway with plans for the B6 to go in to production next year, followed soon after by the Spyder.
Because the B6 Venator – Coup and Spyder – do seem to promise much, and it would be a real shame if they only get as far as concept stage.
But you can never tell with Victor.
