We already know that Audi are planning a compact SUV in the guise of an Audi Q1, because they told us.
Now we get the first leaked photos of the Audi Allroad Shooting Brake Concept which looks exactly what we were expecting from the ‘New Audi Show Car’.
With a narrow glasshouse, wheel at each corner, coupe roofline and sharp lines, the compact Allroad Shooting Brake no doubt gives us a clear idea of what the Audi Q1 will offer, but it probably also previews design elements from other forthcoming Audi models, like the next Audi TT.
That seems even more likely with the interior, which shows the same vitrual cockpit Audi recently showed at CES as a preview of the next TT.
But whatever the Allroad Shooting Brake Concept previews – and we’ll have a better idea next week when it’s revealed at Detroit – it comes with quattro all wheel drive and gets some form of electric propulsion as it’s wearing an e-tron badge.

Having looked at these pictures, I think you are wrong to call it an Audi Q1. For one thing, it is just too wide and low. I reckon this is a TT based car judging by the overall style and the rear end in particular. Anyone out there agree?
