The new Honda NSX (Acura NSX) is almost revealed in pictures and on video as Honda starts the tease for the production version of the new NSX at Detroit.

New Honda NSX (almost) revealed
We get a first look at the new Honda NSX, Honda’s 21st century take on the original NSX, in final production guise as Honda head for the Detroit Auto Show next month to reveal their new supercar.
What we still don’t know for sure is just what’s lurking under the NSX’s skin, but as far as we know it’s a mid-engined V6 engine powering the rear wheels, an electric motor for each front wheel and another electric motor boosting the engine’s power, with a combined output of up to 450bhp.
Mike Accavitti, Honda’s Acura man in the US, said:
The next-generation NSX will deliver a ‘new sports experience’ true to its heritage and to the supercar concept that originally gave rise to the name NSX.
The NSX will serve as the ultimate expression of Acura performance that is fueling a reenergised brand.
But if you were waiting to see the production version before you plonked down a deposit, you’re already too late. The order book for the Honda NSX in the UK was closed this month as Honda revealed all the current allocation has already sold out, even at a price expected to be over £100k.
