Fisker Ocean Electric SUV
The Fisker Ocean is the name for Henrik Fisker’s new electric SUV, due to be revealed in January 2020 and claimed to be the most sustainable vehicle there is.
Henrik Fisker is a man with ambition and talent, and he’s made some interesting cars – and designed even more – but his own efforts at building and selling electric cars has not been an overwhelming success to date. But his eponymous company is back with a new car and it’s going to be called the Fisker Ocean, and just like the real ocean it’s going to be full of bits of old plastic.
In fact, the whole car is very ‘Woke’, with Henrik Fisker calling it “the world’s most sustainable vehicle“, with a ‘Vegan’ interior, carpets made of old fishing nets, recycled fabrics and solar panels on the roof
You also won’t be able to buy the Ocean, instead Fisker will get you in to one with a flexible lease plan with no long-term commitment, and all your dealings with Fisker will be via a Smartphone App.
Aimed at the Tesla Model Y – when it arrives – it has an 80kWh battery pack promising a range of around 300 miles, distinctive styling and a Targa-like opening roof.
Fisker say they will properly reveal the Ocean in January, but it’ll be 2021 before you’re able to actually buy one, with prices expected to be pitched around £40k. Not that you’ll be able to actually ‘buy’ one, and nor will it have the solid state batteries Fisker promised by 2020.

Maybe a huge road tax hike on ICE SUVs will force yummy mummies out of their gross polluting cars? I mean what is the point of an SUV?
