
New Land Rover Defender on the set of the new James Bond film No Time To Die
Land Rover has officially confirmed the new Land Rover Defender will appear in the new James Bond film No Time To Die, with behind the scenes photos.
The news that the new Land Rover Defender will appear in the new James Bond film No Time To Die is hardly news at all; after all, it was a photo of the new Defender on the set of No Time To Die which gave us our first look at the new Defender.But now the new Land Rover Defender is official, Land Rover has decided the time is right for a bit more publicity by hanging on to the to tail of the growing publicity for No Time To Die as its premiere in April 2020 gets closer by releasing a short video of the new Defender on set (below) and a couple of images.
The Defender the Bond team uses is the 110 variant in X Trim, and the cars used on the Bond set were the first Defenders to be built at the Land Rover Plant in Slovakia and are said to be standard production cars, albeit with modifications including roll cage, bucket seats and off-road tyres.
The new Land Rover Defender will be joined in the film by a Range Rover Sport SVR, a classic Series II and a classic Range Rover, as well as a trio of Aston Martins – the Aston Martin Valhalla, DB5 and V8 Vantage.
