Amazon’s ‘Top Gear’ with Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 & Porsche 918 BATTLE

Jeremy Clarkson has Tweeted a photo of himself with Richard Hammond and James May filming with the McLaren P1, LaFerrari and Porsche 918 for the new Amazon ‘Top Gear’.

We know that Top Gear – before the Jeremy Clarkson ‘fracas’ ended the show as we know it – was desperately trying to organise a showdown between the current trio of ‘must have’ hypercars – the Ferrari LFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 – but the departure of Clarkson, Hammond and May from Top Gear put an end to the plan. But the plan looks to be back.

Yesterday, Jeremy Clarkson Tweeted a photo of himself, Hammond and May in front of the three hypercars – and assembled film crew – as filming for the new Amazon Prime take on Top Gear got underway, making it clear that the new show is going to arrive with a real bang and a shoot-out between the three.

But it wasn’t just Jeremy busy letting the world know that the Top Gear trio were back in business – James May was at it too:

It would seem the Top Gear boys are back with a vengeance, and if this is going to be the first episode of the Amazon Prime replacement for Top Gear it looks like it will arrive with a very big bang.
