Audi has updated the A6, A6 Avant and A7 Sportback with a minor cosmetic makeover and extra equipment like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
You might have to look quite hard to work out what Audi has done to the A6 Saloon, A6 Avant and A7 Sportback for the 2017 model year, but a raft of changes there are, including new technology. But at least there are no price increases. On the cosmetic front, the A6 gets titivated air inlets at the front, which look more like Audi’s more recent offerings, a redesign for the diffuser, a black grille for the S Line models, slight tweaks for the sills and back bumper, a bit of extra chrome and some new wheel designs.
Exterior cosmetic changes for the A7 are even more minor, with a trio of new alloy wheel designs and a trio of new colour options – Java Brown, Matador Red and Gotland Green.
Inside, the A6 and A7 get treated to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, there’s LED ambient lighting, optional inlays in silver or grey and optional tablets for the back seat users.
Top of the range models – the RS6 and RS7 (including the Performance versions) – also get an expanded colour range with Sepang Blue, Nardo Grey, Glacier White and Floret Silver now available.
Order books for the refreshed A6 and A7 range opens at Audi’s UK dealers in May, with first customer cars arriving in the summer.
