Photos of the 2013 Mercedes SL 65 AMG – the new V12 Mercedes SL range-topper – which will debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show.
Despite doubts that Mercedes would keep the V12-engined SL 65 at the top of the new SL range, Mercedes has revealed its arrival at the 2012 NY Auto Show in April.
With the big V12 now getting an extra 17bhp and less weight, the open-topped supercar will accelerate to 62 mph in under 4 seconds, thanks not just to the extra power and lower wight but also because Mercedes has finally managed to fit the new 7-speed Speedshift Plus ‘box.
Expected on sale at the end of 2012.
