We keep saying they’ll keep on coming, and keep on coming they do. Offers, that is. From beleaguered car makers.
Citroen is the latest with an offering called the ‘Airdream+’, which is available from about now (surprise, surprise!) and is available on either the C3 or C4 models.
The blurb says:
The C3 Airdream+, based on the mid-range model, will feature the added extras of rear parking sensors and smart 15” alloy wheels, on top of the already standard equipment like air-conditioning and electric windows. Powered by Citroën’s clean and efficient 1.4HDi 70hp unit, the C3 Airdream+ emits just 115g/km of CO2 and achieves an ultra economical 64.2mpg on the combined cycle – a range of around 660 miles on a full tank.
The C4 Airdream+, based on the five door, SX trim, also gains rear parking sensors and with Citroën’s 1.6HDi 16V 92hp unit fitted, the family-sized hatchback has CO2 emissions of just 117g/km and combined cycle fuel economy of 64.2mpg.

And to be fair they do offer pretty good value for money. OTR prices are £10,995 and £13,995 respectively, and Citroen are also throwing in interest free credit with no deposit.
There are better cars at the price, and better cars in these sectors. But as a package they offer a pretty good deal if you were already looking for a Citroen.
But tell them you want one, let them offer you the finance and then tell them you need another £1500 off!
